I had high hopes for this plugin to the point that I purchased the premium version. Luckily it was a very reasonable price. The UI (user interface) is very basic. You are not provided many design options as you have with other plugins. You can change the color of the bar and the text on the button, but there is no way to change color of button or the font used on the button. For the text you post to the bar, there is no way to select specific font other than by entering a font family in a field in the settings interface. You can set font size but no other options such as font-weight, italics, etc. The bar does not appear to sit above the page as other plug-ins do but sits at the top of the page taking up valuable real estate. In my case it hits and covers the upper portion of the site logo. It only provides a field for e-mail address. Doesn’t appear to have the ability to add other fields such as First Name, Last Name, etc. They do offer the option of designing a bar for you, but not sure if there is a cost for this. I do not want to have a developer design the bar to my specifications. This means every time I need a new bar with a different design, I need to involve the developer. The option it does have that others do not is the CSV option where you can export the data captured to a CSV file and upload to various mailing services. For this feature alone is why I can give a 3 star rating rather than less. But again… Given no option to include First Name and Last Name, all you will have is a list of email addresses. Hopefully with future updates design options will improve, especially for the premium version.
